Could this be any more obvious?
Sep. 28th, 2009 12:51 pmI had an interesting dream last night.
I was on the bank of a river that had been mostly dry for some time - it looked a lot like Pedernales Falls (for you guys in Austin), the bed was rocky and full of holes in the rocks. I was standing calf deep in the rushing water and there were many people around. I was picking up scattered belongings of mine that were floating in the water, when i noticed all the people were running away. I looked up and saw the water starting to rise, coming toward me like a wave. I had an acute lack of fear at the water running toward me, i just wanted to pick my stuff up before the water hit me too hard and too fast. Mostly I was alittle annoyed by it, like "oh please, I'm busy."
Once i was done, I went toward the path of the other people, some of them were going through the holes in the rocks to safety, but those holes were filling with water as well, until I saw a large pathway with stairs leading into a very large cavelike hole that the water was not running into at all. I, of course, chose that way, though at this time I was full of a little uncertainty.
As i was walking away from the water, I crossed a bridge that was over another part of the now raging river, but I saw someone swimming in the water with no fear, no urgency, just enjoying themselves, and the water seemed to be calmer around them, easier to actually swim in, rather than be carried away by, and I was at first concerned for them, but then I felt like I wanted to join them - or at least watch them with fascination.
